Extra Curricular Activities
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
A parent teacher organization (PTO) gives parents and teachers the opportunity to work together to supplement and enrich the educational experience. And with today's tight budgets, a strong, well-functioning PTO can be a teacher's most important ally when it comes to achieving curricular and fundraising goals.
The Clark SJA Playground
The Clark SJA Cheerleaders
The cheerleading organization provides students at CES the opportunity to be a part of a team that supports the CES community in a multi-faceted way. The group is unique in that it is both service and performance oriented. Since cheerleading is a high profile organization in the school, students who are cheerleaders have many opportunities to develop and grow as leaders. The cheerleading organization affords opportunities for students to develop physical and performance skills as they represent the school at events throughout the year.
SWAG Club-Students With Academic Goals
The SWAG Club goal is to promote academic excellence through achievement, character, and leadership. The Clark Social Justice Academy believes that exemplary student effort and achievement should be encouraged and rewarded. Scholars who benchmark on the DIBELS Assessment and iReady Diagnostic Assessment will be inducted into the SWAG Club. These scholars will meet once a month and receive rewards/incentives such as pizza parties, popcorn and a movie, college campus tours, etc.
